Water…Are You Getting Enough?

You know that feeling when you wake up in the morning and your skin looks leathery and has scales like a lizard.   Lately, that is how I feel when I wake up, I was blaming it on the dry weather but I dug a little deeper and found out that you are suppose to be drinking half your body weight in oz of water daily.     I found this article very helpful.   Bottom line, water helps headaches, effects our energy levels and brain function, maximizes physical performance not to mention helps with WEIGHTLOSS:)  

A little tip I found to make myself drink more water was to add a drop of essential oils.   I use 1 drop of lemon and 1 drop-off peppermint essential oil from Young Living (all essential oils are not edible by the way) and it make drinking water SO much easier.
