The multi-tasking Hemp CBD Blemish Mask purifies skin while reducing the appearance of pores with a potent blend of anti-bacterial Tea Tree oil, sugar cane, and citrus extract. Nourishing Lavender and 30mg of broad-spectrum, anti-inflammatory hemp CBD combine with soothing Aloe and Calendula to calm skin, reducing irritation and visible redness. Canadian Willow Herb and Green Tea EGCG help to control oil production, while Bakuchiol – a natural, less irritating alternative to Retinol – works to prevent scarring. Dr. Hal Simeroth, formulator of Mantra Masks shares some things you can do to prevent the resulting negative issues from protective masks:
- Before putting on your mask, wash your face with a good pore-cleansing wash and lukewarm water to remove makeup and bacteria and open the pores. Mantra Mask Charcoal cleansing wash is an excellent choice to remove impurities and cleanse pores. Do not use makeup under your mask.
- During the day, whenever possible, give your skin a “mask break” by removing it and exposing to sunlight if you can. The oxygen and the UV light will help kill breeding bacteria.
